Is traveling after starting a new treatment a good idea?

Good morning, In a week we are going on vacation. Due to health problems, I was forced to contact an endocrinologist. He prescribed me PROPRANOLOL 10MG 2x a day for half a tablet. I have not taken these drugs before and I am afraid of reacting to them and traveling. Can even such a small dose cause strongly felt side effects? Is traveling after starting a new treatment a good idea?

Any medication may or may not cause side effects. The severity of side effects is often related to the dose of the drug used. Unfortunately, it is difficult to answer how you will feel after Propranolol, because the response to treatment is individual. Nevertheless, if the use of this drug is indicated for health reasons, then I believe that you should simply start therapy. For a week you will have time to figure out the reaction to the drug and there will also be time for a possible consultation with a doctor.
