Does the formation of a gap between the Evra patch and the skin reduce its effectiveness?

Good morning, if I had the patch glued on my back and I noticed that there is a small gap in the middle between the patch and the skin along the length, could this have reduced its effectiveness? The next day, when I practiced, the patch peeled off halfway, so I immediately changed to a new one and put it in a different place. This is the last week, i.e. 3 slices and I should take it off on Saturday.

If the Evra patch was not completely pressed against the skin, this may have reduced its effectiveness. If the patch has not been applied to the skin for more than 24 hours, the recommended action is to immediately change the patch to a new one and use for 7 consecutive days an additional method of contraception due to the reduction in effectiveness. In a situation where the time during which the patch was not glued was less than 24 hours, the patch should be changed to a new one, but there is no need to use an additional method of contraception.
