Is Mirtagen addictive?

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics - Mirtagen does not cause addiction, although post-marketing experience indicates that abrupt termination of administration after a longer period of use may sometimes cause withdrawal symptoms. For the most part, withdrawal symptoms are mild and resolve spontaneously. Among the various symptoms of abstinence described after discontinuation of the drug, dizziness, agitation, anxiety, headache and nausea were most often described. Although they have been described as symptoms of abstinence after discontinuation of the drug, they may also be related to the disease itself. It is advisable to gradually end treatment with mirtazapine.
