Hello, I used the Ginoring contraceptive disc. Recently, I decided that I would like to get pregnant. I took out the last disc on 23.04.2022 after 4 days of use, I did not wait until the end of the cycle. Since then, I have been regularly having sex with my fiancé, to date I have not got menstruation. This morning (18.05.2022) I took a pregnancy test, which came out negative. I would like to know how long after stopping the use of the disc ovulation may occur and whether it is possible that the test was done too early

Patients who want to stop using hormonal contraception are encouraged to end one cycle and simply not start the next one. In this case, there is generally withdrawal bleeding, and the body undertakes the production of its own hormones. Since you stopped after only 4 days, the withdrawal bleeding did not appear. Stopping the use of hormonal contraception in the middle of the cycle may increase the time to return to the natural hormonal balance. It is difficult to answer when ovulation could or may have occurred, and thus - it is also difficult to assess whether the test was performed at the right time. The pregnancy test is best done no earlier than 10-14 days after the intercourse that may have led to fertilization: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/test-ciazowy Hormonal contraception is a fully reversible method of preventing pregnancy and ovulation can appear already in the first cycle after the end of the method. Sometimes, however, the return of regular ovulation may be delayed - sometimes up to several months the cycles are irregular, but this is not the rule.
