Can tanning in a solarium during a week without a patch (the fourth week of the cycle) also be associated with discoloration on the skin? Does the presence of the patch on the skin during sunbathing matter?

When using hormonal contraceptives, chloasma, a type of discoloration, may occur. Women prone to chloasma should avoid exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet radiation during the period of use of contraceptive patches. Changes on the skin of the type of ostudy are often not completely reversible. Regardless of the use of hormonal contraception, I advise against using a solarium. In people using solarium, the risk of developing skin cancer (melanoma) increases many times. Due to the carcinogenic effect in Poland, only adults can use the solarium (the Act on health protection against the consequences of using the solarium applies).
