Indeed, on May 7, an amendment to the Act on counteracting drug addiction came into force, but at the moment we do not have any information saying whether it will change anything on the Polish market in the near future. If something changes in this topic, we will make updates. At the moment, domestic non-fibrous hemp cultivation in Poland does not yet exist.
Ms. Klaudio, recently passed a law that allows medical marijuana plantations in Poland by state companies, so a colleague asked a question. Please read and do not mislead.

I enclose an excerpt from our article: "At the moment there are no domestic hemp crops other than fibrous in Poland, it is inconsistent with the applicable law. However, there are already companies with Polish capital that import drought from abroad and register their raw materials. Another company - CanPoland - has also appeared on the horizon, which plans to appear as a Polish producer of medical cannabis. On their social media account, the owners of CanPoland share short videos about their business and plans for the future. The company has already signed contracts for the supply of raw material from Canada, European countries and Africa. They want to be both a producer of raw material with medical cannabis and provide services to other entities that intend to introduce dried medical cannabis to European markets. They also strongly believe in the legalization of domestic non-fibrous hemp crops in Poland. The company plans to roll out its medical marijuana raw materials later this year. Interest in dried medical cannabis in Poland is high - as the forecasts show, the Polish market is up to about 300,000 patients, and the currently available raw material still does not cover even part of the demand. An opportunity for patients is undoubtedly the acquisition of new suppliers by companies, the registration of new raw materials or domestic cultivation. As this is a very dynamic market, we look forward to the further development of the medical cannabis industry, providing information about new deliveries and monitoring the availability of products in pharmacies in Poland to make it easier for patients to benefit from medical marijuana therapy."
