Furaginum contains furazidine - a drug with antibacterial effect, which is used to treat uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections. Fatty liver, hypertension, diabetes mellitus or cholelithiasis are not contraindications to the use of this drug. Rarely and usually with prolonged use, liver-related side effects such as symptoms of drug-induced hepatitis, cholestatic jaundice and necrosis of the liver parenchyma may occur, while diabetes may predispose to nervous system disorders (e.g. pain and dizziness, drowsiness, visual disturbances). https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/31667/furaginum-teva-tabletki/ulotka Urotrim, on the other hand, contains trimethoprim, an antibacterial drug that is used to treat acute uncomplicated urinary tract infections and to prevent recurrent urinary tract infections. Fatty liver, hypertension, diabetes mellitus or cholelithiasis are not contraindications to the use of this drug. Very rarely, this medicine caused liver-related side effects such as cholestasis. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81033/urotrim-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka None of the drugs is "toxic", and the decision about which drug will be best for you should be made by a doctor who will be familiar with your health in detail.
