Does hibiscus affect the effectiveness of contraception?

if I drank about 16 tea with dried hibiscus today and the previous day I took the contraceptive pill vines at 22, and the next one today at 22, will it affect the effect of the pills? I mean hibiscus, because I read on a certain portal that it interacts with estrogens. thanks in advance for your reply!

A single intake of hibiscus flower infusion should not have a significant effect on the effectiveness of contraception. Due to the fact that the effect of hibiscus flower infusion on the effectiveness of contraceptive pills has not been clearly confirmed, its regular use in women using contraceptive pills is not recommended. It has been proven that hibiscus flower contains phytoestrogens, i.e. substances of plant origin acting analogously to hormones. There are speculations that phytoestrogens could potentially affect female hormone levels, which could theoretically affect estrogen-containing birth control pills. To definitively confirm the existence of such a relationship, further research is needed.
