Does applying the Evra patch earlier affect the bleeding and effectiveness of contraception? When should I change the next patches?

I'm now in the process of weaning bleeding, but I made a mistake and applied the patch a day earlier than the "sticking day" falls. Will this affect contraception and bleeding? I understand that now I have to change the patch on this new day?

Earlier sticking of the patch does not affect the contraceptive effectiveness of the preparation. It is also unlikely to have much effect on the withdrawal bleeding that occurs. Earlier sticking of the patch only caused the change of the patch day to change to a day earlier than the standard one. Subsequent patches should be changed on a new day: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/ulotka/107008 We wrote about how to use contraception correctly in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
