Extending the break for withdrawal bleeding - what to do?

Evra Help patches got lost in all this and instead of peeling off 3 slices and taking a 7-day break I extended it by a week and the day without the patch fell to me 5 weeks and not 4 weeks as it should be, not only that, after this break I glued the patch 1 day too late and I do not know what to do now. (The day of changing the patches I had every Saturday and after this break I glued on Sunday evening) please help

To @Anna: From now on, the day of changing the patch will fall on Sunday.

And the patch I have to glue on Saturday or Sunday then?

It is not clear from the content of the question whether after 3 weeks of use you glued a new patch or whether you wore a patch applied at the beginning of the 3rd week for 14 days. In the first of the described situations, the effectiveness of contraception is preserved. In the second situation, due to the fact that in the fourth week there is a break for withdrawal bleeding, leaving the patch from the previous week does not affect the effectiveness of contraception, but in this case, in the 5th week you should start a new cycle by applying a new patch. Otherwise, the effectiveness of contraception is not ensured. Regardless, if the break for bleeding lasts more than 7 days (in your case it is 8 days), for the first 7 days of the new cycle, an additional mechanical method of contraception should be used. You can read more about how to use contraception correctly in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
