How to use contraceptive patches?

Hi I have a question, I change the patches every Wednesday, last when I was at the pool, on Monday, slightly in the water I peeled off, but later after returning home he still kept in place, he was slightly aerated. I pulled the patch on Wednesday because it was a week off for the period. If the day of changing the patches falls on Wednesday, you should also apply the new patch on Wednesday. If you applied the patch on Thursday, so the break in using the patches lasted more than 7 days, for the first 7 days after applying the new patch, you should use an additional mechanical method of contraception.
