Venlectine is a drug that contains venlafaxine. This substance inhibits the uptake of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, thereby showing antidepressant effects. When using Venlectine, pupil dilation may occur. Close monitoring is recommended in patients with elevated intraocular pressure or in patients at high risk of acute narrow-angle glaucoma.
