Mom is taking Pylera for the second day and she has started to see red spots on her face and legs, in addition, when I touch her these places are warm. We are not sure if it is a side effect of the drug or an allergic reaction, mom says that these reddened places do not itch her. Should you go to the nearest emergency/ night care department or wait and consult your family doctor (it's a weekend so we won't get to your GP in the coming days)

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the red spots described in the question may be a papular-spotted rash described in the leaflet as one of the common side effects of Pylera: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/65474/pylera-kapsulki/ulotka/34163 I also encourage you to report the occurrence of side effects of the preparation. Reporting side effects increases control over commercially available medicines. We wrote about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane This is not a life-threatening condition, so there is no need to report to the SOR. Until contacting your FAMILY doctor, you can use remedies for skin allergies.
