An additional reduction in diastolic pressure (in the supine position) was 7 mmHg. Values of additional reduction in blood pressure were similar to those observed after administration of sildenafil alone to healthy volunteers. Although this drug causes a slight and transient decrease in blood pressure, in most cases it is not clinically significant. Provided that hypertension is properly controlled with medications, the recommended doses of sildenafil are not exceeded and you do not have other cardiovascular diseases, such as: unstable ischemic heart disease, uncontrolled and malignant hypertension, circulatory failure, recent myocardial infarction (up to 2 weeks), ventricular arrhythmias, severe valvular defects, cardiomyopathy or recent stroke, the use of silednafil is not contraindicated.
