For fertilization, the presence of an egg is necessary, which is released about 14 days before menstruation. Women with irregular cycles may have the best chance of getting pregnant, because the reasons for changing the day of ovulation, when the egg is released - can be many. The best time to get pregnant is, of course, the ovulation period. However, it should be remembered that ovulation itself is only the moment of release of the egg, but fertile days begin a few days earlier and can last for several days after ovulation. As I mentioned earlier - fertile days, as well as ovulation itself, can shift. It should be borne in mind that ovulation usually occurs around the 14th day of the cycle, and fertile days earlier. Considering that the lifespan of sperm is up to 5 days - when you had intercourse on the 8th day of the cycle, when ovulation shifts - there is a chance of pregnancy. ellaOne delays the onset of ovulation - if it was actually taken before the egg was released, which is difficult to really determine - then you can relax, although I think it is worth verifying it after 14 days with a pregnancy test: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/app/artykuly/test-ciazowy-jaki-wybrac-i-kiedy-zrobic
