Budixon Neb medicine is not a cough medicine and does not have a direct antitussive or expectorant effect. The product contains budesonide - this substance is a glucocorticosteroid and exerts an anti-inflammatory effect. The preparation is subject to prescription. The drug can be prescribed by a doctor for diseases with cough, but as I mentioned, it works on inflammation and thus can alleviate the ailments associated with respiratory disease.
