No, Metoclopramide does not affect the effectiveness of Evra contraceptive patches. "Substances that intensify intestinal peristalsis (movements), m.in metoclopramide (e.g. Metoclopramide Polpharma) and laxatives (e.g. Radirex, Bisacodyl VP) – shorten the residence time of single- and two-component contraceptive pills in the gastrointestinal tract to such an extent that they do not have time to be properly absorbed" Since the patch allows you to "bypass" the gastrointestinal tract, drugs such as Metoclopramide do not affect the contraceptive effectiveness of the patches.
