Combining the antibiotic Klacid with the drug Spamilan is not advisable. Klacid inhibits metabolism and thus increases the level of buspirone (the active substance in Spamilan) in the blood. This is associated with an increase in the effect and an increase in the risk of side effects of Spamilan. In addition, this combination increases the risk of developing symptoms of serotonin syndrome, which may be a consequence of using Mozarin and Spamilan drugs.
