Good morning, I have been taking Fostex 200+6 for over 2 years and unfortunately for half a year I have been struggling with oral mycosis or thrush. What medication should I go to get rid of the bothersome ailments that the side of the mouth. Unfortunately, I live in Germany and no one can help me. If I only get an answer from a Polish doctor, I have to tell the doctor here the name of the new inhaler and he will be happy to prescribe it to me. Thank you very much for your help!

In the described case, you should start by verifying that you are using the correct prophylaxis of fungal lesions. The basis when using drugs such as Fostex to reduce the risk of fungal infection of the mouth and throat is to rinse the mouth or throat with water or brush your teeth immediately after each inhalation. If you do not do this, changing the inhaler will probably not bring any improvement. Any inhaler containing an anti-inflammatory glucocorticosteroid in its composition will carry the risk of fungal infections. In the case of a possible change of treatment, if it is actually necessary, you should contact the pulmonologist directly - it is up to you to decide whether you want to use the service in Poland or Germany. However, I do not think that it is possible to conduct your treatment without knowing the exact diagnosis and history of the disease, i.e. without medical documentation.
