Is the tightness in the chest area when taking Olfen a cause for concern?
I have been using Olfen 100 SR (1 tablet after breakfast) for knee pain (inflammation) for three days. Besides, I take medication for hypothyroidism (75mg), nothing more. Since yesterday I have such a tightness in the chest area (it lasts for several hours) and it is harder for me to breathe. Should I stop taking the medicine? I've never had problems with medication before.

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, dryness of the mucous membrane is one of the very rare side effects of Olfen: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/56585/olfen-100-sr-kapsulki/ulotka/33381 In this case, I encourage you to consult your doctor, who will recommend the appropriate therapeutic treatment for you and rule out potentially other causes of chest pain. Please do not stop taking the medicine on your own.
