The child 10 days after the administration of pyrantelum continues to excrete pinworms. They don't move, so I suspect they're just dead. Is it possible? In a few days we repeat the dose of pyrantelum. Is it possible that she expels dead pinworms for so long? How long can it take?

The excretion of pinworms unable to move is the result of the use of the drug. How long the body excretes parasites may vary from patient to patient. It should be taken into account that pinworms lay eggs, from which pinworms hatch in the intestines, reaching full maturity within 2-4 weeks, therefore, after 14 after the first dose, it is recommended to perform a fecal examination or repeat the therapy. To @Kamila: A similar question was answered in the attached thread: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/65291/vermox-jak-to-mozliwe-ze-po-szesciu-tabletkach-vermox-dziecko-nadal-ma-owsiki
Why after the administration of Vermox the child excretes for several days live oats, very quickly move in the feces all alive, should be dead, whether the tablet did not work? There is a mass of them alive in the feces every day .
