Can I drink alcohol during treatment with a hypertension drug?
Hello. I am 20 years old and have been treated for hypertension for a year. If I take propranolol once a day in the morning at 8 o'clock, can I drink alcohol after 5 pm? New Year's Eve is approaching and my birthday and I would also like to have fun.

As a rule - no drugs should be combined with alcohol, because such combinations may increase the effect of the drug and additionally burden the liver. However, if you drink a small amount of alcohol that day, nothing bad will happen.
