Podczas stosowania hormonalnych środków antykoncepcyjnych może wystąpić nieregularne krwawienie w trakcie cyklu (krwawienie lub plamienia śródcykliczne), zwłaszcza w pierwszych miesiącach stosowania tabletek. Taki okres adaptacyjny organizmu może trwać ok. 3 cykle.
