Do czasu wizyty u lekarza stosować można rano na czczo 1 kapsułkę leku Prenome (chyba, że lekarz zalecił inaczej) lub 1 kapsułkę Controloc Control. Nie należy natomiast łączyć tych leków, gdyż zawierają one substancje o podobnych mechanizmach działania.
W międzyczasie, jeśli dolegliwości pojawią się jeszcze w ciągu dnia można przyjmować mleczko Alugastrin. Zwykle stosowane dawkowanie to 1 łyżka stołowa (15 ml) godzinę po posiłkach i przed snem lub w razie wystąpienia dolegliwości.
