Do birth control pills help treat POlycystic ovary syndrome PCOS?

Unfortunately, I am struggling with PCOS from what the gynecologist told me 5 years ago. I got pregnant without a problem, in a moment in the second. I am long after two births, I take Vibin contraceptive pills. For as long as I can remember I have been overweight even a lot, black, thick hair growing everywhere, there are a lot of them. Painful months. The gynecologist said that these are the symptoms of PCOS, is it possible to use contraceptive pills to combat PCOS? Will they help me? I would like to laser remove these Hairs in a special clinic but I am afraid that because of this PCOS they will continue to grow
