Changing the dose of an antidepressant and side effects
Hi I have a question for half a year I take escipram tablets, I started the dose from half a tablet and for a week I am already on two tablets at the moment I take 20mg and since the increase in medication I am very sleepy but the fears have returned. Whether it's possible that I'm taking too high a dose or just have to wait for the side effects of increasing the dose to pass, I'm enrolled in the doctor in March. Please reply. I will add that the whole period I took 1.5tabletki but my psychiatrist increased me to two for the winter period.

W początkowym okresie po zwiększeniu dawki leku możliwe jest nasilenie objawów niepożądanych. Zwykle trwa to około 2 tygodnie, jednak jest to sprawa indywidualna. Jeśli po 4 tygodniach od zmiany dawki dolegliwości będą się utrzymywały, wówczas należy skontaktować się z lekarzem, który zdecyduje, czy konieczna będzie kolejna modyfikacja leczenia.
