Since when am I protected from pregnancy, if I started using Diane-35 on the 24th day of the cycle?
Good morning, I have a question about anticonception😅 My gynecologist prescribed me Diane 35 contraceptive pills because of the isotek. And she ordered them to be taken immediately after the visit. I asked her if I should do it on the first day of my period. She told me that I was on the 24th day of the cycle and a week before the period and because of the isotek I was taking I had to do it right away. My question is from what point I am protected from pregnancy. Should I break the blister? I'm already on the 4th day of taking the pill or finish it and take the second one normally? I'm sorry to ask such a question, but it bothers me a lot. And I will have my next visit only in a month

Lekarz ma rację - ze względu na przyjmowanie leku Izotek, zażywanie leku antykoncepcyjnego należy rozpocząć od razu.
Proszę nie przerywać stosowania leku Diane-35, ale dodatkowo zabezpieczać się przez cały pierwszy blister. Po tym czasie ochrona będzie pełna.
