Sertalina (składnik aktywny leku Asertin), podobnie jak inne leki z tej samej grupy terapeutycznej, może nasilać krwawienia, w tym ginekologiczne. Nie znajduję natomiast informacji o wywoływaniu działania przeciwnego, czyli zmniejszania obfitości miesiączki. Podczas stosowania sertaliny zgłaszano natomiast "nieregularne miesiączkowanie".
