Can bleeding occur after late application of the new Evra patch?

I have a question about Evra patches. I have been using them for about a year, but the situation happened to me for the first time and I do not know what I should do. The point is that on Sunday I was supposed to put on a new patch (third) but I took off the old one (2), and I forgot to glue the new one. I did it on Monday. Today, wednesday, I got my periods. Should I remove the patch? Should we leave it until Monday and then start the weaning week? Is there a chance that bleeding will occur next week? Did those that began to be treated today as those from withdrawal even if they occurred 2 days after putting on the patch? And why could this happen? Without the patch I was not even 12 hours.
