Too high heart rate and the use of propranolol.
Good morning, due to my high heart rate (over 100, probably due to a stressful period) I received Propranolol Accord 10 mg three times a day. I take the drug on the third day. Due to the fact that after the second tablet I got dizzy, I did not take the third. Today also, but my heart rate is between 70 and around 90. The doctor told me to stop taking the medication as my heart rate returned to normal. I am 32 years old, I take medication for hypertension. What heart rate can I consider normal? Now the resting heart rate does not exceed 90 beats per minute. With such results, can I no longer take pills? I will be grateful for your help.

Przyjmuje się, że prawidłowe tętno w spoczynku powinno mieścić się w przedziale 60-100 uderzeń na minutę. Jeśli lekarz zalecił odstawienie leku, jak tylko wartości tętna wrócą do normy, proszę kontynuować pomiary. Jeśli wartości tętna będą mieścić się we wspomnianym przedziale, przyjmowanie leku nie jest konieczne.
W razie jakichkolwiek wątpliwości, proszę się jednak kontaktować z lekarzem, który zalecił stosowanie leku Propranolol.
