Łączenie leków Velaxin i z preparatami zawierającymi kwas acetylosalicylowy np. Polopiryną zwiększa ryzyko wystąpienia krwawień z przewodu pokarmowego. W tym wypadku bezpieczniejsze będzie przyjmowanie leków na bazie paracetamolu np. Theraflu, Apap Przeziębienie.
Nie ma natomiast przeciwwskazań do przyjmowania leków jak Strepsils czy Tantum Verde wraz z Velaxinem.
