Is the absence of bleeding a normal phenomenon when using Limetic contraceptive pills?
If I have been taking Limetic for a month after taking other contraceptive pills (at which I had regular menstruation), and now there is no bleeding at all, is there a chance of unwanted pregnancy? Is the absence of bleeding a normal symptom when using the drug? I would like to add that there was another form of contraception when approached.

Limetic to tabletki antykoncepcyjne jednoskładnikowe, których cechą charakterystyczną jest to, że u większości pacjentek nie występuje krwawienie.
Podczas stosowania leku mogą jednak występować nieregularnie krwawienia z dróg rodnych. Mogą one mieć charakter delikatnego plamienia, bądź intensywniejszego krwawienia, które będzie przypominać skąpe krwawienie miesiączkowe.
Nieregularne krwawienia nie są objawem zmniejszenia skuteczności antykoncepcyjnej leku.
Na ogół nie ma konieczności podejmowania żadnych działań, należy dalej stosować lek. Jeśli jednak krwawienie jest nasilone lub długotrwałe (powyżej 14 dni), należy skonsultować się z lekarzem.
