Can I take Sorbifer Durules prophylactically without consulting a doctor if I do not have the opportunity to perform tests and I suspect iron deficiency?

I found at home sorbifer 100mg I suspect that once prescribed it to me doctor because I had iron deficiency, currently I am struggling with hair loss and I suspect that I may have a deficiency again, at the moment I do not have the opportunity to do tests, and I have to act because the hair comes out handfuls. Hence the question, can I prophylactically take these 1 tablets a day without consulting a doctor?
