Does Macromax weaken the effectiveness of Evra patches?

Hello, I have been using evra patches for about a year now, currently I am on the 2nd patch on Sundays I stick 3, since yesterday I have been taking the macromax antibiotic along with the cover. Will it reduce the effectiveness of contraception?

Antybiotyki mogą wpływać na skuteczność antykoncepcji hormonalnej poprzez zaburzanie flory jelitowej przewodu pokarmowego, co utrudnia wchłanianie tabletek antykoncepcyjnych lub blokowanie/pobudzanie izoenzymów w wątrobie odpowiedzialnych za metabolizm hormonów zawartych w innych rodzajach antykoncepcji hormonalnej, dlatego - w mojej ocenie - warto dla bezpieczeństwa zastosować prezerwatywę przez cały okres antybiotykoterapii oraz 7 dni po jego zakończeniu.
