Pojęcie "płytko" jest dość subiektywne. Włożenie go na około 1 cm od wejścia do pochwy nie jest raczej uważane jako płytko, ważne aby krążek znajdował się w pochwie i nie przeszkadzał. Jeśli po aplikacji krążek jest niewyczuwalny, został zainstalowany prawidłowo i ochrona będzie zachowana.
