How to use Metypred to treat allergy symptoms?

Hello The doctor prescribed me Metypred 4 mg emergency in the event of a strong allergic reaction to insect bites. Unfortunately, I am forced to use the drug because after the bites I had large, itchy and painful at the same time, swollen lesions. However, I do not know the appropriate dosage. I remember that it was supposed to be a higher dose at the beginning and reduced over time. From the leaflet I can not deduce the appropriate scheme of application in this case. I have already had such a situation on vacation and hence the medication if necessary. Please advise on the appropriate application scheme. Thank you in advance for your help
