How many days do I have to wait for the birth control pill to work if I have taken it 3 days after the period?
Good morning, I lived with my husband as I still had menstruation the last day of menstruation, and for three days I did not take tablets because I still had a period I took the first birth control pill and of course also 72 hours after. Does the birth control pill protect me immediately after one or do I have to wait 7 days for it to work?

Jeśli przyjmuje Pani tabletki antykoncepcyjne, to owulacja nie występuje. Stwarzają one już pewną formę ochrony, ale niepełną.
A niech mi pani powie, skoro wzięłam tabletke antykoncepcyjna 11.07 i później wzięłam ta 72godz po a owulacja mam 17.07 to mam już jakieś zabezpieczenie? A od 11.07 biorę tabletki o tej samej porze każdego dnia.

To zależy, w którym dniu cyklu przyjęła Pani pierwszą tabletkę antykoncepcyjną - jeśli między 2. a 5. dniem cyklu zabezpieczać należy się przez 7 kolejnych dni, a jeśli później - aż do końca blistra.
