Dexaven jest lekiem wydawanym na zlecenie lekarza, zatem dawka leku, częstotliwość stosowania i długość terapii dobierane są indywidualnie do stanu zdrowia pacjenta i jego organizmu.
Zwykle w leczeniu COVID-19 stosuje się dawkę 6 mg na dobę, dożylnie, do 10 dni.
U młodzieży (w wieku 12 lat lub starszej) zaleca się podawanie dożylnie 6 mg raz na dobę przez okres do 10 dni.
