Is bleeding and spotting (especially after intercourse) when using Mirena normal?

Hello. I have had myren spirals for a year since it was put on I have constantly bleeding plus spotting. If not olamiem in a month with 6 to 7 days it is a revelation. Spotting occurs most often after intercourse or is it normal? Not to mention the fact that I have a terribly bloated belly as if I was 4 m pregnant.

Krwawienia i plamienia są dość częste w pierwszych miesiącach stosowania wkładki. Ponieważ w Pani przypadku wkładka została zaaplikowana rok temu, a objawy te nadal się utrzymują, dodatkowo towarzyszy im wzdęcie brzucha, konieczna będzie konsultacja z ginekologiem w celu rozpoczęcia odpowiedniej diagnostyki.

In my case, checking the level of prolactin helped. I had a very high level - now I take Dostinex regularly and it's OK.

To @Kasiula:

Bleeding and spotting after Mirena is inserted are quite common, especially in the first few months. In your case, 7 months after insertion, persistent spotting can be worrying, especially if it is accompanied by other symptoms.

Such symptoms may require consultation with a gynecologist to rule out inflammation or other causes. Your doctor may recommend diagnostic tests, such as ultrasound, and adjust hormonal treatment. Each body reacts individually, so it is important to monitor symptoms and have regular check-ups.

I had a similar problem, but without bloating. In my case, it turned out that I have a huge inflammation of the uterus (the uterus does not hurt). Three antibiotics and after trouble. As many as three, because two did not make it. I was already at the limit of endurance, completely determined to remove the insert. The problems lasted about 9 months, at the beginning I was not diagnosed correctly. After treatment, everything passed. Now every two days I take a vaginal probiotic.

Hello, can I ask you for information, what the diagnostics showed? Because I have the same problem and for a visit to my gine I still have to wait 2 weeks.
