With Ozempic, the number of clicks is not a reliable way to measure your dose. The pen works on the basis of a mechanical mechanism of setting the dose, and not the sum of clicks from subsequent uses. What you see in the window is the currently set dose (e.g. 0.25 mg), not the "result" of the previous rotations.
Differences such as 18 or 38 clicks are not clinically relevant and may result from reversing the knob, resetting the dose, or different starting points when turning. It is always crucial to set the correct dose according to the indication in the window and administer a full injection.
If you have doubts about the correct use of the pen, it is worth checking the administration technique with your doctor – this is important, because incorrect counting of "clicks" can lead to incorrect dosage.
