As a rule, there are no known, absolute contraindications to combining berberine, white mulberry and chromium with Ezecrone (ezetimibe) and Blocard (bisoprolol). However, some caution should be exercised.
Berberine and white mulberry can lower blood glucose levels. If you have diabetes or are taking antidiabetic medications, this combination may increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Chromium can also support lowering glucose levels.
In the case of Blocard, it is worth remembering that beta-blockers can mask some symptoms of hypoglycemia, such as palpitations or trembling hands. For this reason, people with diabetes should monitor their glucose levels especially closely.
In addition, berberine can affect the metabolism of certain drugs in the liver, so when using several preparations at the same time, it is worth informing your doctor about all the supplements you are taking.
