How long should I use supplemental contraceptive protection if the Ginoring disc fell out in the first week?
12.99 zł

Hey, I have a question. On Friday at 11:50 p.m. I got my period and put on Ginoring. Unfortunately today (Wednesday at 1:36 a.m.) I noticed that unfortunately he is not there - he probably fell out with a tampon. I put on a new disc at 1:36 because it falls on the 5th day of the cycle until the 23rd (+ I still have bleeding). My question is whether to use mechanical contraception for a week or the whole 3 weeks? I will be very grateful for your answer and thank you in advance

If you are unable to determine when the disc fell out and how long you were without the disc, it would be best to use an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom for each intercourse in this cycle – that is, for the 3rd week of wearing the disc that you applied on Wednesday.

If you are sure that the disc fell out on Wednesday and you put on a new one on Wednesday – 7 days of additional protection is enough.

Here you can check the availability of Ginoring discs in pharmacies and make a reservation:
