Hello, I'm taking ozepik for 5 weeks. Abdominal pain is present not every day, but on the second or third day. I'm taking 0.5 now, I took vengroves before and we switched to ozepik. Is this normal? Or do you need to reduce the dose?

Hello
I see that you switched to Ozempic in the same way in Wegovy. I passed only because of the price. For a month I took Veggy in a dose of 0.25mg and one dose of 0.5mg. I switched to Ozempic 0.5 mg. I did one injection with Ozepick. In general, I don't have stomach problems, I had heartburn, but that's for a while. I felt more weak, my head was cold. Completely different ailments than the typical ones. And it was late in the afternoon that they appeared. I was even weak at times. Why is that? Did you have that too?

Abdominal pain is one of the most common side effects with Ozempic (seen in ≥1/100 to <1/10 people). In addition to it, other gastrointestinal disorders can also often occur, such as vomiting, bloating, constipation, and very often (in ≥1/10) nausea and diarrhea. These symptoms are usually most severe at the beginning of therapy and should disappear over time. The duration of the body's adaptation to the drug is individual, it can last up to several months.
Do not modify the dosage yourself. If the symptoms are not bothersome, please use the medicine as prescribed by your doctor. However, if the abdominal pain is severe or accompanied by any worrying symptoms, you should consult your doctor and discuss therapy.
