Hello. For some time now, I have been taking Trazodone 75 mg neuropharm at night.
However, during the last visit, the doctor mentioned something about taking the drug twice a day. In the morning triticco cr 75 and at night trazodone.I was scared, fearing side effects, but I heard that it is one and the same substance and it happens that these two drugs are taken in different schemes. Is it often the case that these drugs are divided into two doses - triticco cr in the morning and trazodone regular at night?

Although this drug is mainly associated with helping to fall asleep with evening doses, using it twice a day is a standard and frequently practiced medical procedure, especially in the treatment of anxiety or depression that requires stable blood levels around the clock.
The use of the CR (extended-release) form in the morning allows for a mild anxiolytic effect during the day without excessive sleepiness, while the evening dose is designed to improve sleep quality. Since the body is already used to the dose of 75 mg, adding a morning dose under the supervision of a doctor is usually safe, although a temporary feeling of fatigue may appear at first.
