The potential interactions of ashwagandha with drugs have not been thoroughly studied, so it is not possible to say unequivocally whether such a combination will be completely safe. If supplementation is started, the body's reaction should be monitored and if alarming symptoms occur (e.g. excessive sleepiness, dizziness, concentration problems), discontinue the use of the preparation.

Ashwagandha and myrtle (mirtazapine) may have a sedative effect, which may lead to increased drowsiness and decreased psychomotor performance.

Before introducing supplementation, it is worth consulting your doctor, especially if the drug is used for depression or sleep disorders.
