Isn't the use of Xyzal in syrup 0.5mg/ml at a dose of 2x5 ml for a 3.5-year-old weighing 20.8kg too much? I'm afraid of side effects. In the leaflet, it says that for children aged 2-6 years, half as much is given.

The dosage of Xyzal is determined by your doctor based on your clinical condition. If you are not sure about the recommended dosage, consult your doctor again. Perhaps the increased dose is due, for example, to a strong allergic reaction in the child.
