Yes, such a procedure is currently in accordance with the latest guidelines of the Polish Society of Hypertension. Modern medicine is moving away from administering single substances at the beginning of treatment in favor of combination preparations (containing two or three substances in one tablet, as in the case of Triplixam), because they allow for a faster and more stable reduction of blood pressure with a lower risk of side effects.
The use of one multi-component tablet instead of several separate drugs also significantly improves the so-called compliance, i.e. the regularity of taking the drug, which is crucial in effective hypertension therapy. Remember to take the medication regularly at the same time, preferably in the morning, and do not stop taking it yourself, even if your blood pressure quickly returns to normal.
