Yes, dry mouth and throat (xerostomia) is a commonly reported side effect with Mounjaro. This is due to the mechanism of action of the drug, which can affect water-electrolyte balance and slow stomach emptying, which in some patients intensifies the symptoms of dehydration or night reflux.
At night, this symptom can be more bothersome due to naturally lower saliva production and breathing through the mouth. To alleviate this discomfort, I recommend increasing your fluid intake during the day, using preparations that moisturize the throat mucosa (e.g. with Icelandic lichen or hyaluronic acid) and taking care of the proper humidity in the bedroom.
