Does not change the counter after two inhalations of Symbicort mean that the dose has not been released?

If I have inhaled 2 times, and the counter is still at 60, has no powder been released?

No, taking 2 inhalations of Symbicort Turbuhaler does not cause an immediate change on the counter, as the scale is marked every 10 inhalations and changes gradually. The counter shows an approximate number of doses (e.g. 60 for a full inhaler), but does not decrease after single or several inhalations – a visible change occurs only after about 10-20 uses. This means that the powder was most likely released correctly as long as the inhalation technique was performed according to the instructions (knob turned both ways as far as it will go with a "click" sound, deep inhale.
