The Summary of Product Characteristics of Zevesin recommends caution when used in patients with reflux, which means that if the symptoms get worse, a doctor should be consulted and a change in treatment strategy should be considered. Reflux is not an absolute contraindication to taking treatment with Zevesin. The most common side effects (from the digestive tract) observed during treatment with this preparation are dry mouth, indigestion and abdominal pain.
